Hieng Ho Lau

Hieng Ho Lau currently serves as the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus since November 2018, having previously held the position of Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic). Prior experience includes various academic roles at Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia, from February 2003 to November 2018, such as Dean, Deputy Dean, Associate Professor, Acting Dean, and Head of the Civil & Construction Engineering Department. Additionally, Hieng Ho Lau worked as a Civil Engineer at Jurutera Perunding Akal Sdn Bhd and as a Civil & Structural Engineer at KTA (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from Oxford Brookes University, a Graduate Certificate of Learning & Teaching from Swinburne University of Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching from Curtin University.
