Andrew Garton has extensive experience in media and communications, currently serving as a Swinburne Adjunct Industry Fellow and Lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology since November 2016, where Andrew lectures and tutors in production and media theory for the Master of Media and Communications program. Andrew is also an Adjunct Industry Fellow at Secession Films and has held various roles including Writer, Director, and Producer. Previous positions include Creative Producer for the City of Melbourne's Homelands v2 initiative, Operations Manager at EngageMedia, Program Director at Open Channel Co-operative Limited, and Creative Director at Toy Satellite. Andrew’s earlier career includes roles at Pegasus Networks and the State Library of New South Wales, as well as at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Andrew holds a Master of Arts in Animation and Interactive Media from RMIT University.
