Marion Ware

Marion Ware has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marion has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.

Marion started their career at NOVUM HOTELS UK LIMITED in 1991 as a Front Office Manager. Marion then moved on to Mt Buller - Buller Ski Lifts in 1992, where they worked in Hospitality Management.

In 1998, Marion joined Wholesale Wine Services, where they initially worked as a Marketing Coordinator before being promoted to Marketing Executive in 2000. Marion stayed with the company until 2004.

From 2004 to 2011, Marion worked at Mercedes-Benz Australia. Marion started as an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Service & Parts and then transitioned to roles in marketing. Marion served as the National Aftersales Marketing Coordinator for Passenger Cars and later became the National Service Marketing and Project Specialist.

Since 2011, Marion has been working at Swinburne University of Technology. Marion started as a Marketing and Operations Manager and gradually progressed to more senior positions. Marion'sroles include Senior Manager of Business Development and Strategy, Head of B2B Market Development and Strategy, Head of Swinburne Edge Marketing, and Head of Domestic Student Recruitment (Acting). As of September 2022, they hold the position of Head of Swinburne Enterprise Marketing.

Marion Ware has completed The Marketing Leadership Masterclass in 2023. Additionally, Marion has obtained a Master's degree in Commerce (Marketing) from Swinburne University of Technology, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Applied Business from the same institution. Marion also completed the Emerging Leaders Program in Leadership and Innovation at the Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific - National Training Centre. Prior to these accomplishments, Marion attained an Advanced Diploma in Business, Economics, and Hospitality from the Vienna Higher Technical School for Tourism, Languages, and Economy. Marion is a professional member of the Institute of Managers and Leaders, obtained in 2018.
