Jens Rom

Jens Rom has extensive work experience in various executive roles. Jens is currently the Chief Executive Officer at SwipBox, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to this, they were the Chief Business Development Officer at SwipBox from March 2020 to June 2020. Jens also serves as a Non-Executive Board Member at RTM A/S since January 2020.

In 2020, they joined Photocat A/S as a Non-Executive Board Member, a role they continue to hold.

Before joining SwipBox, Jens had a tenure as the Managing Director of Bring Express Suomi OY from October 2017 to January 2020, where they were responsible for the delivery of customized logistics services in Finland. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director of Bring Express Danmark A/S from September 2010 to January 2020, overseeing logistics solutions in Denmark.

Jens also held the position of Deputy Chairman at Danske Fragtmænd A/S from August 2014 to May 2017.

Earlier in their career, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bring Citymail, where they led a turnaround and faced challenges due to regulations giving Post Danmark a monopoly on the postal market. Before that, they were the Head of Cards, Nordic Region at Citibank, responsible for launching Mastercard operations in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

Jens started their career at IKANO Financial Services Ltd, where they established the company in the UK from scratch and served as the Managing Director until August 2006. IKANO was a major player in the credit card market, competing with GE Capital and HSBC.

Jens Rom completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School between 1981 and 1984. Jens also pursued further education in Business Administration by attending the General Management Programme at Hult Ashridge, although no specific start or end dates were provided for this program.
