Marco Demont has a varied work experience that spans over several years. Marco started their career in 2009 with a PR and communication internship at Zone 4 Communications. In 2010, they worked at 20 Minuten AG as a Business Support Manager Online and Crossmedia before transitioning to the role of Marketing Manager, focusing on media partnerships, promotions, and events. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Project Manager at Culture Communication / abc Production AG, responsible for PR, communication, and marketing projects. In 2016, they joined watson News as a Marketing Manager and Head of Social Media, where they remained until 2019. At Seven.One Entertainment Schweiz AG, Marco served as a Marketing Manager B2C from 2019 to 2023. Marco co-founded gocamping.ch in 2020 and currently holds the position of Chief Sales Officer at Swiss Activities, starting in 2023.
Marco Demont received their Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the SIB Swiss Institute for Business Administration, where they attended from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a diploma in marketing from the Swiss Marketing Academy, from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also obtained the BEC Higher certification from Cambridge Assessment English in May 2018.
