Benjamin Hentrich has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Benjamin started their career as a freelancer in 2001, working on web projects and implementing content management systems. Benjamin then co-founded and managed XLcontent GmbH from 2002 to 2006. Benjamin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Unitek AG from 2007 to 2009, and later as the Head of Web Development at Neue Zürcher Zeitung from 2009 to 2014. During this time, they were responsible for implementing and operating digital products and promoting Agile methodology. Benjamin also worked at finnova AG Bankware as the Head of E-Channel in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Head of Front End Development at Flynt, where they focused on reinventing platforms and services related to wealth management. Currently, Benjamin is working at Swiss Life, where they have held the positions of Head of IT Face to the Customer from 2017 to 2023 and Head of Customer Interaction & AI Services from 2023 onwards.

Benjamin Hentrich obtained a Master's degree in Informatik from Freie Universität Berlin, where they studied from 1999 to 2007. Prior to that, they studied Betriebswirtschaft at the University of Augsburg from 1996 to 1999.
