Markus Mairhofer

Markus Mairhofer started their work experience in 1998 as a Brokerage Manager at UNIQA. Markus then worked as an Audit Manager at KPMG from 1999 to 2001. Markus later joined Allianz Group and served as an Audit Manager and Deputy Head of Internal Audit from 2002 to 2005. From 2005 onwards, they worked at Swiss Life AG, Niederlassung für Deutschland and then moved to Swiss Life Deutschland Holding in 2013, where they currently hold the position of Head of Internal Audit.

Markus Mairhofer completed their Master's degree in Social Sciences and Economics from Universität Innsbruck between 1991 and 1998. Markus then pursued a Doctor's degree in Economics (Laurea in economia aziendale) from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. In 2006, they obtained a Certified Internal Auditor certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
