Dr. Sebastian Schleser

Dr. Sebastian Schleser has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and research. Dr. Sebastian currently holds the position of Head of Chemistry at NUCLIDIUM AG since December 2022. Prior to this, they were a PhD student at the University of Bayreuth from April 2020 to September 2022. In this role, they focused on the design and synthesis of drug and natural product derived anti-tumoral metal complexes, utilizing bioorthogonal click chemistry to study their mechanism of action. Dr. Sebastian also collaborated with various biochemistry departments and research institutes for in vitro and in vivo evaluations of these complexes.

Before their PhD studies, Dr. Schleser worked as a webdesigner at Scintomics GmbH from September 2019 to March 2020. Dr. Sebastian also gained experience as a student research assistant at the Technische Universität München from July 2018 to March 2019.

Dr. Sebastian Schleser obtained their bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich from 2014 to 2017. Dr. Sebastian then went on to pursue a master's degree in Chemistry at the same institution from 2017 to 2020, earning their Master of Science (MS) degree.
