Simone Merkli

Simone Merkli serves as the Co-Head of Youth Olympic Team Support and Chef de Mission for the Youth Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Festivals at Swiss Olympic since September 2021. Additionally, Simone has been the owner of Simi's by Simone Merkli since October 2019. Previous experience includes management at Ballettschule Theater Basel from February 2018 to August 2021, teaching at HWS Huber Widemann Schule from August 2016 to August 2021, and various roles at the Sportamt Baselland and Sportamt der Stadt Bern focused on sports promotion and assistance. Simone's background also includes branding for adidas and Reebok, and serving as an info leader at BASELWORLD. Academically, Simone holds a Master of Business Administration in Sport Management from the University of Bayreuth and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport and Media Studies from the University of Basel, along with a certification in Hatha Vinyasa Yoga.
