Alexander Suchan

Alexander Suchan is a Senior Cloud Engineer at Swiss Re since August 2022, with a strong background in Linux/Unix systems and IT leadership. Previously at Adient from May 2016 to July 2022, Alexander held the position of IT Technical Lead, where responsibilities included strategic planning, OS security standards, and migration projects, as well as automating processes and creating a comprehensive knowledge base. Prior roles include Senior Unix/Linux System Administrator and System Engineer at Gratex International and Hewlett-Packard, respectively, with expertise in server administration, monitoring, and backup solutions. Alexander holds an Engineer's degree in Information Technology and Management from Slovenská pol'nohospodárska univerzita v Nitre and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra.
