Christoph Labermeier

Christoph Labermeier is an experienced tax professional currently serving as Director of Tax IFRS Reporting at Swiss Re since January 2008, leading Group Tax Reporting Processes and projects, including direct tax automation and transformation from US GAAP to IFRS tax reporting. Previous roles include Senior Tax Manager responsible for economic balance sheet tax reporting, German tax compliance support, and implementing a worldwide tax reporting software solution. Prior to Swiss Re, Christoph worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at EY, providing tax compliance and consulting for businesses and individuals, and held positions at Tokai Bank Ltd and Depfa Bank. Christoph holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting and tax from Goethe University Frankfurt.
