Steffen Berkenkopf Laib

Steffen Berkenkopf Laib has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Global Head HR Group Digital & Tech, Asset Management, Legal & Compliance at Swiss Re since August 2017. Prior to this, Steffen held multiple roles at Swiss Re, including Global HR Partner for Asset Management, Underwriting, SRI, and Legal & Compliance, as well as Corporate Solutions. Steffen's previous experience includes working as a Sr. Advisor at FASHION CLOUD and Global Head of People Operations at Marley Spoon. Steffen's career began at ABB, where various positions were held, including HR Lead for the Africa Program, Regional HR Partner for Central Africa & Near East, and roles in integration and project management. Steffen holds an Executive Master of Strategic Human Resource Management from SDA Bocconi and a degree in Business Engineering with a focus on Global Production Management from DHBW Mannheim. Additionally, a study abroad program was completed at UC Santa Barbara with a focus on marketing, accounting, Spanish, and leadership.
