Steve Snipes

Steve Snipes is an experienced professional in risk management with a significant career at Swiss Re from April 2011 to present, where roles include Head of Solvency & Financial Risk Management, Head of Financial Risk Management, Head of Market Risk Management, and Head of Corporate Risks & Governance. In these positions, Steve has led global efforts in solvency, financial risk, and market risk, overseeing the development of risk appetite frameworks, internal risk models, and senior risk reporting. Prior to Swiss Re, Steve founded Ritova Solutions, focusing on risk and financial management methodologies, and was a founding partner at Bluecap Management Consulting. Steve's early career included a consultancy role at Oliver Wyman. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Economics from UCLA and a B.SE. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
