Nelson Figueira has extensive experience in the field of API management and enterprise application integration (EAI), currently serving as an API Product Manager at Swisscom since January 2011. Prior to this role, Nelson worked as a Tibco EAI Engineer and EAI Tibco consultant at centeractive ag and o2 Germany, respectively. Nelson's earlier career includes positions at Portugal Telecom and Altran, where roles encompassed Tibco consulting and junior consultancy work. Nelson also has programming experience with Java J2EE and Java-Web at ArTelecom and Altran - AutoEuropa. Educationally, Nelson holds a PhD in Telecommunications and Informatics from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, achieved in 2006.
