Dominic Moser

Dominic Moser's work experience begins with their role as Head of Strategic Grid Planning at Swissgrid AG in 2019. In this position, they were responsible for managing the planning and control of the network construction project portfolio for the high-voltage grid. Dominic also developed strategic and technical guidelines for power lines and substations and monitored the performance of assets.

Prior to their role at Swissgrid AG, Moser worked at SBB CFF FFS from 2017 to 2019. Dominic initially served as the Head of Technical Facility Management Energy, overseeing high-voltage lines, substations, and power plants. Dominic then transitioned into the role of Senior Project Manager for Energy Efficiency, focusing on optimizing energy systems.

In 2017, Moser took a sabbatical before joining SBB in 2009. As the Head of Asset Data Management, they established and led an interdisciplinary department responsible for managing data related to operations, projects, and quality control. Dominic was involved in various projects, including the Alptransit Gotthard project and the implementation of condition-based asset maintenance.

Before their tenure at SBB, Moser worked as a Senior Project Manager for EnBW in 2008 and as a Freelance Project Manager for EnBW in 2007. Dominic also worked as a GIS/NIS Specialist at Cablecom from 2000 to 2006.

Dominic Moser attended ETH Zürich from 1994 to 2000, where they obtained a Dipl. Ing ETH in Geomatics Engineering. In 2016, they briefly studied at the University of St.Gallen, earning a CAS in General Management.
