Tobias Ott

Tobias Ott has a diverse work experience in various roles. Tobias started their career as a PhD student and research assistant at ETH Zürich's Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control from April 2010 to February 2014. Following that, they joined Ampard Ltd as a Control System Engineer from March 2014 to June 2016. Tobias then moved on to Swissgrid AG, where they held different positions including Specialist TSO Markets Development from July 2016 to September 2017, Specialist Market Development from October 2017 to December 2018, and finally as Head of Product Development from January 2019.

Tobias Ott pursued their education in a consistent order at ETH Zürich. Tobias first obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, completing this program from 2005 to 2008. Building on their bachelor's degree, Tobias then pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Lastly, they furthered their educational journey at ETH Zürich by earning a Doktor (Ph.D.) degree in the field of System Dynamics & Control, undertaking this program from 2010 to 2013.
