Marcel Martins

Marcel Martins is a seasoned professional in the aviation and hospitality industries, currently serving as the General Manager of Global Operations Transformation & Excellence at Swissport since June 2022. Prior to this role, Marcel held the position of Vice President at Velez Group Inc / Barista Cafe from November 2020 to June 2022, contributing to the family-oriented restaurant in Coral Gables. Marcel's extensive experience includes managing a large fueling operation at Menzies Aviation as General Manager, overseeing over 250 staff and collaborating with more than 60 companies. Previous roles also include Station Manager at Total Airport Services (TAS), various positions at LATAM Airlines over nearly a decade, and earlier positions at Banco do Brasil and Crefisa. Marcel holds an education from Miami Dade College.
