Marco della Seta

Marco Della Seta is a highly experienced professional in the field of quantitative finance, currently serving as Lead Quant Engineer at swissQuant since April 2023. Prior to this role, Marco held the position of Head of Equity at Swiss Life Asset Managers from April 2020 to March 2023 and was Head of Research at STOXX Ltd. from June 2019 to March 2020. From August 2015 to May 2019, Marco worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager in Quantitative Equities at APG. Academic experience includes positions as Assistant Professor at Université de Lausanne from September 2012 to July 2015 and at Radboud University Nijmegen from September 2011 to August 2012, alongside postdoctoral research. Marco holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, both from Tilburg University, where studies were completed between 2008 and 2011.
