Jacques Barakat

Jacques Barakat possesses extensive experience in executive leadership and sales within the financial and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as the CEO of Swissquote MEA Ltd and Managing Director of Swissquote Bank Ltd since February 2013, Jacques has held various senior roles at Swissquote, including CEO of SWISSQUOTE - DUBAI and Director of Global Sales for eForex. Prior to this, Jacques spent over a decade at Orange Business Services as Head of Sales for Large Project Accounts. Additional experience includes positions as Regional Sales Manager at ALLCOM SA, Manager of Global Network Infrastructure at JT INTERNATIONAL, and several roles in sales and account management at notable companies such as CISCO SYSTEMS, NCR (SUISSE) SA, and TELINDUS NETWORKS SA. Jacques holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from EPFL and completed a program at IMD in 2005.
