Amelia Cross has worked in various roles in the supply chain and operations field since 2006. Amelia began their career at Belkin International as a Logistics and Demand Planner, Operations Officer, Purchasing and Shipping Officer, and Purchasing and Shipping Assistant. In 2015, they joined Pandora as a Purchasing Officer, with their main responsibilities including demand planning, supply planning, managing inventory for all point of sale items, managing relationships with international suppliers, sourcing and managing local suppliers, and managing import classifications and customs queries for all inbound and some outbound freight. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Stockmaster Pty Ltd as a Compliance Manager and Finance Administrator. Most recently, in 2020, they joined SwitchDin as a Supply Chain & Operations Associate.

Amelia Cross has a diverse educational background. Amelia began their educational journey at Bateau Bay Primary School from 1990 to 1996. Amelia then attended Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College from 1997 to 2002. In 2007, they completed Open Foundations at the University of Newcastle in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Amelia then attended Open University Australia from 2008 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Business in Logistics and Supply Chain Management & International Business. In 2011, they returned to the University of Newcastle, completing their Bachelor of Business in Logistics and Supply Chain Management & International Business in 2014. Finally, they attended TAFE NSW from 2016 to 2017, earning a Certificate IV Training and Assessment in Education.
