Omar al Aukaidy

Omar Al Aukaidy serves as the Social Services Coordinator at Rock Valley College since August 2022 and has been an Arabic Linguist at SWITS, Ltd. since January 2021. Previously, Omar held positions as a Family Support Specialist at both Rockford Public Schools and RPS 205 from April 2017 to August 2022. Omar's experience includes working as a Security Officer at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. from February 2016 to August 2022 and as a Secretary Editor for the World Culture Magazine at the General House of Cultural Affairs until August 2022. Earlier roles include positions as a Communications Professional and Senior Customer Service Representative at Zain Iraq and an Arabic-English Linguist at Titan. Omar holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and Education from Grand Canyon University (2018-2020) and a Bachelor's degree in the College of Arts with a focus on translation from Al-Jami'at Al-Mustansiriyah (1997-2001).
