Yevgeny Popkov

Yevgeny Popkov has extensive work experience in data science, with positions at various companies. Yevgeny started their career as a Scientist/Senior Scientist at ProfitLogic Inc in 2001, and then moved on to become a Senior Scientist at Oracle USA, Inc in 2005. In 2011, they joined CQuotient as a Principal Data Scientist and stayed with the company until 2014. Yevgeny then worked at Skillz Inc. as a Principal Data Scientist from 2014 to 2015, followed by a role at Zaius, Inc. from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Swoop as a Principal Data Scientist and then moved to TripAdvisor in 2017, where they currently hold the position of Principal Data Scientist.

Yevgeny Popkov earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Notre Dame, from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Physics from Novosibirsk State University, during the years 1987 to 1992.
