James Maska

James Maska, PT, DPT, currently serves as the Training and Enablement Lead at Sword Health since August 2020, where responsibilities include optimizing the training process for over 150 physical therapists. Previously, as Clinical Operations Team Lead, Maska developed a licensing and credentialing roadmap and supervised a team of clinicians during the company's rapid growth. Originally one of the first ten physical therapists at Sword, Maska contributed to the mission of delivering innovative care for musculoskeletal disorders. Prior experience includes roles in various healthcare settings, such as launching a combined physical therapy clinic and community gym for a nonprofit organization, serving as a per diem physical therapist at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, and multiple traveling physical therapist positions across the United States, including critical access hospitals and outpatient clinics. Maska holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University at Buffalo.
