João Tiago Silva

João Tiago Silva currently serves as the Head of Data at Sword Health, having progressed from Data Team Lead and Data Engineer since joining in March 2021. Prior to this role, João worked at Xpand IT from September 2015 to March 2021, where positions included Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, Business Intelligence Consultant, and BI Developer, focusing on ETL development, big data technologies, and dashboard/report development. João began a professional journey in data analytics with an internship at The University of Texas at Austin in mid-2014. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade do Minho, as well as foundational education at INA – Instituto Nun’Alvres and Escola Básica da Ponte/Escola da Ponte.
