Documentary Shorts Associate Programmer at South by Southwest

Elizabeth Stoddard is an accomplished film programmer and critic with extensive experience in the arts and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as a Documentary Shorts Associate Programmer for SXSW since 2020, Elizabeth also holds the position of President at the Austin Film Critics Association. Additionally, Elizabeth provides film critiques and contributes to Cinapse.co while managing operations at On the Record Reporting and Transcription, Inc. since 2002. Prior roles include Volunteer Coordinator for the Texas Book Festival, Writer and Critic for Slackerwood, and a Staff Writer and News Editor at Austinist.com. In the non-profit sector, Elizabeth has served as President, Vice-President, and Board Member for Manos de Cristo, focusing on community support for recent immigrants. Earlier experience includes working as an Americorps Construction Assistant for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Elizabeth earned a BA in English with a music minor from Austin College in 2000.
