Mehwish Rana

Mehwish Rana has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Mehwish started their career as a Teaching Fellow at the California Teaching Fellows Foundation in 2013, where they worked with at-risk children in an after-school program and taught a photography program. In 2014, they joined Autism Treatment Solutions as an HR Coordinator, responsible for coordinating and maintaining HR files and processing HR documents.

In 2016, Mehwish moved to Proteus Digital Health, Inc, where they initially worked as a People Coordinator, managing HR documents and ensuring timely completion of I-9 documents. Mehwish then advanced to the role of Sr. People Coordinator (Operations) in 2018, where they focused on maintaining and updating data within the HRIS system. In 2019, they became a People Specialist, overseeing the onboarding experience and analyzing metrics to improve the process.

Most recently, Mehwish joined Syapse in 2019 as a Manager of People Ops. Mehwish progressed to the role of Sr. Manager, People Ops in 2020, and currently serves as the Head of People Operations since January 2022. In this role, they develop and executes a people operations strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and goals. Mehwish also implements compensation and benefits programs and fosters a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation.
