Sazrema Shahadan

Sazrema Shahadan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Internal Auditor at UNI.ASIA General Insurance Berhad for nearly three years. In 2010, they moved to Maybank where they served as an Internal Auditor for two years. In 2012, they joined Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad as an Assistant Manager in Internal Audit, a position they held for four years. Following that, they worked at HSBC as a Manager in Compliance Monitoring & Testing for two years. In 2018, Sazrema joined Prudential Corporation Asia as the Manager of Groupwide Internal Audit for three years. Currently, they are the Head of Takaful Operations & Shariah Audit at Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad.

Sazrema Shahadan pursued their education at various institutions and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management (Insurance) from Universiti Teknologi MARA, which they attended from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Matriculation in Life Science at Malacca Matriculation College from 2003 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Sazrema Shahadan has also obtained several certifications. These include the Certified Qualification in Islamic Finance from IBFIM, which they obtained in February 2023. Sazrema also holds the Intermediate Qualification in Islamic Finance from IBFIM, acquired in November 2018, and the Associate Qualification in Islamic Finance from IBFIM, obtained in June 2017. Sazrema Shahadan is an Associate Member of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Malaysia, though the specific date of obtaining this certification is not mentioned.
