Syazrin Syida Sharifuddin

Syazrin Syida Sharifuddin has a diverse work experience in the financial and research sectors. Syazrin Syida started their career as a Management Trainee at RHB Investment Bank Bhd in 2010 and later held roles as a Senior Executive and Assistant Manager in Credit Control & Supervision. In 2014, they worked as a Research Executive at The Edge Communications for a brief period.

In the same year, Syazrin joined Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad, where they started as an Assistant Manager in the Equity department. Their responsibilities included conducting equity research on various sectors, managing external fund managers, and producing reports for the Investment Committee and Board of Directors.

Syazrin Syida was later promoted to Deputy Manager, Equity, where they became a fund manager for seven Investment-Linked Funds. Syazrin Syida also supported the Head of Equity in managing the proprietary Equity portfolio and provided economic-related reporting to management.

Currently, Syazrin holds the position of Manager, Equity at Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad. Syazrin Syida is part of an investment team responsible for managing a significant investment asset. Their main role is to act as the Fund Manager for the proprietary Equity portfolio, oversee the Unit Trust portfolio, and manage five Investment-Linked Funds.

Syazrin Syida Sharifuddin pursued their Bachelor's degree in Economics, specializing in finance and monetary, from the University of Malaya from 2004 to 2007. Later, in 2009, they enrolled at Deakin University where they obtained a Master's degree in Commerce with a focus on financial planning, completing their studies in 2010.
