Sycamore School
Allison Hayden has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Middle School Social Studies teacher at Sycamore School since July 2020. Prior to this role, Allison held various positions at Bethesda Christian School from July 2012 to June 2020, including Junior High/High School Principal, where responsibilities included training staff and managing eLearning during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as coordinating health measures with local and state authorities. Other roles at Bethesda included Associate Dean of Students and High School Social Studies Teacher, with a proven track record in preparing students for AP European History and teaching various other social studies subjects. Additional experience includes coaching at Zionsville Swim Club and supervising aquatics activities at Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation, as well as managing before and after school programs at Beaver Dam Unified School District. Allison holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Indiana University Indianapolis, completed in 2018.

Sycamore School exists so that academically gifted children can experience the enriched, accelerated education they need to reach their potential and to lead responsible, constructive, fulfilling lives. Sycamore is one of few schools in the nation, and the only private school in the state of Indiana, where all academics and activities are designed for gifted kids preschool through eighth grade.
