Pedro Henriques

Pedro Henriques has worked as the Head of Bioinformatics at syd™ since March 2019. Prior to their current position, they were a Researcher at University College London from August 2012 to August 2014. Before that, they had a role as a Master intern at Institut Jacques Monod/CNRS from February 2012 to July 2012. Pedro's work experience also includes being a Research Trainee at Instituto de Medicina Molecular from September 2010 to September 2011.

Pedro Henriques's education history begins with their high school diploma from Escola Secundária Alves Redol, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Pedro then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a specialization in Evolutionary and Developmental Biology at the University of Lisbon, starting in 2007 and finishing in 2011.

After completing their Bachelor's degree, Pedro went on to pursue a Master's degree in Evolutionary and Developmental Biology at the University of Lisbon. Pedro attended the program from 2011 to 2013.

During their time pursuing their Master's degree, Pedro also had the opportunity to study at Pierre and Marie Curie University. Pedro obtained a Master's degree from there in 2012, focusing on the subject of "From molecular developmental biology to biomedicine, evolution and systems biology."

Following their Master's degrees, Pedro furthered their studies by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience at UCL. Pedro began their PhD program in 2014 and successfully completed it in 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Pedro Henriques has also obtained certifications in JavaScript Essential Training and React.js Essential Training from LinkedIn. These certifications were obtained in August 2022.
