Gavin Johnson

Gavin Johnson is an experienced procurement professional with a robust background in category management and procurement strategy. Currently serving as Procurement Manager at Sydney Metro since November 2020, Gavin has also held key roles such as Senior Category Manager for the Virtues of Finance Project at the University of Technology Sydney from July 2016 to October 2020, and Category Manager positions at Ausgrid and Transport Sydney Trains. Gavin began the career at Qantas as a Procurement Manager from February 2008 to March 2009. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the National Institute of Public Administration and a Certificate IV in the same field from TAFE.
