Caroline Spence

Caroline Spence is an accomplished arts executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent cultural institutions. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Sydney Theatre Company since November 2022, Caroline's previous positions include Deputy Executive Director and Chief Commercial Officer at Sydney Dance Company, as well as various leadership roles at the National Institute of Dramatic Art and Sydney Opera House. Caroline has also contributed to Create NSW as an Artform Advisory Board Member and participated in the UTS MBA Advisory Board at the University of Technology Sydney. Caroline's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of Technology Sydney, along with studies in electronic commerce and negotiation at Harvard University, and a Bachelor's degree in Visual Production from Macquarie University.
