Clare Porter

Clare Porter has extensive work experience in the water industry and communications field. Clare has held various roles at Sydney Water, starting in 2014, including being the Head of Strategic Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility. Prior to this, they worked at Keep Australia Beautiful NSW as a Non Executive Director. Clare also has experience at National Water Commission as the Manager of the Water Industry Team, and at the Australian Water Association in different positions such as Sustainability Manager and Technical Editor. Clare previously worked at Melbourne Water as a Sustainability Planner and at the Australian Water Association in various communication, marketing, and project management roles. Their career spans over 25 years, beginning in 1995.

Clare Porter's education history begins in 1994 when they attended Macquarie University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Resource & Environmental Management in 1998. In 2003, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Management from Charles Sturt University, specializing in Professional Practice. Clare pursued further education in 2007 at Swinburne University of Technology, completing a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability. More recently, in 2017-2018, they attended Melbourne Business School, where they pursued a Senior Executive MBA degree.
