Chad Swance is an experienced professional in global trade and compliance, currently serving as Head of Global Trade and Director of the Global Trade Center of Expertise at Syensqo since December 2023. Chad's extensive background includes roles such as Global Trade, Centre of Expertise Leader at Solvay, and National Director of Innovation and Strategy Execution at Kuehne+Nagel, where responsibilities encompassed market positioning and regulatory compliance. Chad's previous experience spans positions in trade compliance and international policy advisement at several organizations, including BlackBerry and Avigilon, as well as roles in the public sector as a policy advisor and legislative assistant. Chad holds a Master of International Trade from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, complemented by a certification as a Customs Specialist.
