Luke Connal

Luke Connal has a diverse work experience in academia and research. Luke is currently serving as the Cofounder and Chief Scientific Officer at Syenta (Spark3D) since July 2022. Additionally, Luke holds the position of a Professor at The Australian National University since January 2022. Previously, they worked as an Associate Professor at The Australian National University from January 2019 to January 2022 and as a Senior Lecturer at both The Australian National University from November 2017 to December 2018 and the University of Melbourne from January 2013 to November 2017. Luke also served as a Research Fellow at UC Santa Barbara from 2009 to 2012 and at The University of Melbourne in 2008.

Luke Connal attended the University of Melbourne from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the same university and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Polymer Chemistry from 2004 to 2007.
