Francis LaPlante

Francis LaPlante has worked in a variety of roles throughout their career. Francis began their career in 1984 as a 68L20 Aviation Communication Equipment Repairer for the 1109th CT AVCRAD. In 1996, they worked as an Advisory IT Specialist and Advisory Project Manager for IBM and IBM Global Process Services, respectively. From 2006 to 2014, they were a Foster Parent and Co-Leader of the Foster Parenting Education (PRIDE) course for new and prospective Foster Parents for the CT Department of Children and Families. From 2009 to 2020, they worked as a QC Tester for Dreamlight Studios and a Voice Over Artist for Foveated Consciousness. Most recently, they have been the Director of Technology Operations and Engineering at SyferLock Technology Corporation since 2014.

Francis LaPlante obtained a High School Diploma from Montville High School in 1984, where they studied Computer Science. Francis then went on to pursue a BSE in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut. In 2000, they obtained a Certified Tester Foundation Level from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
