Al Monro

Al Monro is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in governance and advisory roles within the technology sector. As Chair of the Board of Directors at Syft Technologies since August 2019, and a Director at eStar and Broadfield Advisory since 2015, Monro has been instrumental in enhancing commerce solutions and supporting New Zealand technology companies in expanding globally. Past directorships include roles at Spidertracks, Foster Moore, Callaghan Innovation, Phitek Systems, Baanto, Kahne Animal Health, and Optima Corporation, showcasing a strong track record in both advisory capacities and strategic leadership. Monro holds an LLB degree in Law and Commerce from the University of Canterbury, earned between 1975 and 1981.
