Kostya Kartavenka

Kostya Kartavenka is an Applications Scientist at Syft. Kostya previously worked as a Graduate Student at Emory University, where they developed and validated four analytical methods of different complexity on assessment of human exposure to airborne pollutants. Kostya also collaborated with national and international institutions on analytical method development, and updated lecture materials and assignments for graduate level class.

Kartavenka also has experience as a Co-Founder/Technical Lead at Predictive Arbitrage Scanner Vilka, where they conceptualised algorithm, programmed, and deployed ASP .NET/T-SQL web application to Microsoft Azure for search, analysis, and forecast of arbitrage situations in football pre-match betting via statistical models.

Lastly, Kartavenka has experience as an undergraduate intern at Laboratory for Exposure Assessment and Development in Environmental Research.

Kostya Kartavenka has a Ph.D. in Environmental Health Science from Emory University, and a Specialist Degree in Chemistry (with a focus in Environmental Chemistry and Radiation Chemistry) from Belarusian State University.

Their manager is Doug Hastie, Managing Director. They work with Raj Parthipan - Environmental Technical Specialist, Paul Wilson - Principal Scientist / Consultant, and Thomas Mckellar - Applications Scientist.
