Vinay Eapen

Vinay Eapen is a Senior Scientist 2 at Flagship Pioneering since May 2024, focusing on pioneering advanced protein editing molecules. Previously, Vinay served as a Senior Scientist 1 at Casma Therapeutics from October 2021 to January 2024, leading various biology projects related to mitochondrial-lysosomal biology, oncology, and targeted protein degradation. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, contributing to research in cell biology and radiation oncology. Vinay earned a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from Brandeis University, where also completed a Master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology, following a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology. Early career experience includes internships and a project trainee role focused on apoptotic pathways.
