Lead Scientist at Sygnature Discovery Limited

Mussa Quareshy has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Mussa is currently working at Sygnature Discovery as a Lead Scientist, where they started in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at the same company from March 2021 to August 2022 and then as Senior Scientist II from August 2022 to October 2023.

Furthermore, Mussa spent time as an Industrial Placement Student at GlaxoSmithKline from August 2010 to August 2011, where they worked in the DMPK division, specifically in the Structural Identification sub-division. Mussa worked on AMS for metabolite profiling of radio-labeled drugs and gained experience in HPLC, UPLC, mass spectrometry, and NMR. Mussa also participated in the Student Ambassador Scheme at the Training and Development Agency for Schools in June 2010, where they had a placement in a science department at a school in Leicester.

Mussa Quareshy obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Life Sciences from the University of Warwick, which they attended from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (MChem) from the University of Leicester from 2008 to 2012. Mussa attended Gateway Sixth Form College from 2006 to 2007 for their A-Levels, and St Andrews International High School from 2002 to 2006 for KS3, GSCE, and AS Levels. In 2019, Mussa obtained a PRINCE2 Foundation level certification from PeopleCert.
