Larry Weiss

Larry Weiss has a solid background in various roles within the biotechnology industry. Larry is currently the CEO and Founder of Symbiome, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the CSO and Founder of Symbiome from August 2020 to November 2021, and as the CEO and Founder from November 2017 to August 2020. Before Symbiome, Larry worked at AOBiome Therapeutics, where they held the position of Chief Medical Officer from July 2014 to November 2017. Larry also worked at AOBiome as a Scientific Advisor from January 2013 to July 2014. Larry's earlier experience includes serving as the Chief Scientific Officer and Founder of CleanWell Company from 2005 to 2014.

Larry Weiss attended The Wheatley School from 1967 to 1973, where they earned a high school diploma. Larry then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry at Cornell University from 1973 to 1977. Larry continued their education at Stanford University School of Medicine from 1977 to 1982, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a specialization in Medicine.
