Melissa Rondeau currently serves as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs at Symbiotix, LLC, a position held since June 2013, with prior roles including Executive Vice President and Senior Vice President in Clinical Services. Rondeau's background includes a CTT Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Technology Transfer, focusing on the commercial potential of new technologies, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where research concentrated on targeted nanocarriers for vascular oxidative stress treatment. Previous experience includes a graduate student and NSF IGERT trainee at the University of Kentucky, concentrating on solid lipid nanoparticles for tumor drug delivery, as well as earlier research assistant roles across multiple institutions. Rondeau earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Kentucky and a BA in Biochemistry from Asbury University.
