Alex McGrane

Alex McGrane has a diverse work experience in the field of talent acquisition and human resources. Currently, they are working as a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at Symbotic since May 2022.

Prior to that, Alex worked at American Tower for a significant period. They held various roles, starting as a Recruiting Coordinator from August 2011 to August 2013. Later, they became a Recruiting Associate from August 2013 to January 2015, overseeing full-cycle recruiting and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Subsequently, Alex worked as a Recruiter from January 2015 to July 2018, managing recruitment activities for multiple business units within the US Tower division. In this role, they owned full-cycle recruiting for a high volume of requisitions and established strong relationships with cross-functional teams and senior leaders. From July 2018 to May 2021, Alex served as a Manager of Talent Acquisition, leading and coaching a team in executing successful recruitment strategies and championing diversity and inclusion priorities. Finally, they held the position of Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition from May 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining American Tower, Alex worked as an Administrative Assistant at Vaco from October 2010 to July 2011. They also had a brief stint as an HR Consultant at K&P Consulting Inc. for five months in 2011.

Alex's early career includes a role as an HR Clerk at Otto Environmental Systems North America, Inc. from March 2009 to October 2010.

Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated expertise in recruitment, building and maintaining relationships, developing strategies, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Alex McGrane attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management. In addition, they earned certifications in "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" and "Leading at a Distance" from LinkedIn in June 2020 and May 2020, respectively.
