Craig Wilhoyt has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Craig started their career in 1992 as a Maintenance Technician at Nutrasweet Co, where they troubleshooted and repaired mechanical and electrical issues with production and plant equipment. In 2002, Craig transitioned to become a Police Officer at the City of Kankakee, responding to calls for police service, conducting patrols, and making arrests.

In 2006, they joined Peddinghaus Corporation as a Control Software, Installation, and Commissioning Engineer, working with mechanical and electrical engineering departments to develop PLC programs for new machinery. Craig continued in this role until 2012.

Following that, Craig worked at The Dow Chemical Company as a Control and Instrumentation Engineer, troubleshooting electrical and control issues with process equipment. Craig also provided on-the-spot repairs and adjustments during production. In 2013, they joined Rockwell Automation as a BOP Control Software and Commissioning Engineer, configuring and programming the system hardware and software for oil and drilling corporations.

In 2017, Craig worked at Honeywell as a DCS Commissioning Engineer, configuring DCS for a large oil refinery project in Kuwait and managing team members throughout the process. Craig then moved to Verbruggen Palletizing Solutions US in 2019 as a Commissioning Engineer, ensuring that client pre-installation requirements were met and installing, troubleshooting, and commissioning systems.

Currently, Craig works at Symbotic as a PLC Integration and Commissioning Engineer, commissioning large-scale, fully automated case picking and palletizing systems using robotics for high-volume distribution centers. Craig provides technical solutions for any I/O, HMI, or field device issues and manages 3rd party construction and installation.

Throughout their career, Craig has gained expertise in troubleshooting, repairs, system commissioning, and team management in various industries.

Craig Wilhoyt attended Kankakee Community College from 1993 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering. Craig'sfield of study focused on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
