Joris J. F. Magenti

Joris J. F. Magenti is currently the Head of Business Growth at Symbridge. Prior to this, they were a Venture Advisor at Fission Ventures from June 2019 to September 2021. Joris has also worked as an EU Horizon 2020 - Expert Startup Evaluator - SME Instrument at the European Commission from February 2019 to September 2021, where they were responsible for the evaluation of proposals for the SME Instrument. Magenti has also worked as a Fundraising & Strategy Specialist at RedCrow Equity Crowdfunding from March 2017 to March 2018, where they were responsible for supporting the Founders & Management team in product & Fundraising strategy, amongst other things. Prior to that, they were the Co-founder & COO of Ugo Fresh from December 2016 to March 2017.

Joris J. F. Magenti has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oxford, a Master's degree in Project Management and International Cooperation from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and a Licenciatura (BA) in Economics from Universitat de Barcelona. Joris also completed a 1 year Erasmus programme in Business/Managerial Economics at the University of Montpellier, and has two post-graduate diplomas in Disaster Risk Management from Latin American Social Sciences Institute (FLACSO)/INTEC Dominican Republic and Development Studies from Catholic University of Santo Domingo.
