Sean Bowden

Sean Bowden has a significant amount of experience in the financial industry. Sean currently serves as both the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Symbridge Capital, a broker-dealer and alternative trading system for digital asset securities. Sean'srole involves providing liquid and efficient markets for accredited and institutional investors.

Prior to this, Bowden was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Symbridge Holdings, an innovative fintech company that focuses on transforming digital asset exchange platforms. Sean played a key role in combining blockchain technology with a proprietary execution engine to offer institutional traders and accredited investors access to digital assets and tokenized commodities.

Before joining Symbridge, Bowden served as the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Arctic Securities from 2016 to 2019. Sean also worked as a Compliance Consultant at Old Blackheath Companies and held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Sberbank CIB and Natixis.

Bowden's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Compliance Manager at Societe Generale and as a Compliance Manager at Bank of America. Sean started their career as a Compliance Officer at LaBranche & Co. and worked as an Examiner at the New York Stock Exchange.

Sean Bowden attended Fordham Preparatory School, graduating in 1994. Sean then went on to earn their Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University, completing their studies in 1998. In addition to their formal education, Sean Bowden has also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist from ACAMS, the High Impact Leadership Program from Columbia University in the City of New York, and various certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) such as Series 7, 14, 14A, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28, 63, 79, 99, and SIE.
