Colleen Murphy

Colleen Murphy has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Colleen started their career at Deloitte & Touche in 1989 as an Auditor. In 1990, they joined Safeco Corporation as a Controller, where they worked until 2004. At Safeco, Colleen gained valuable experience in financial management. In the same year, they joined Symetra as a Senior Vice President, Controller, and Treasurer. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer at Symetra. Colleen's experience spans over three decades and showcases their expertise in financial leadership and management.

Colleen Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Colleen is also a Certified Public Accountant registered with the State of Washington. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Fellow in Life Management Institute from LOMA and as a Financial & Operations Principal from FINRA.
