Douglas Punt

Douglas Punt, FSA has a strong background in actuarial work, with their most recent position being at Symetra as a VP & Sr Actuary since December 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of AVP & Senior Actuary at Symetra from March 2021 to December 2022. Before joining Symetra, Douglas worked at Anthem, Inc. as an Actuarial Director from September 2017 to March 2021 and as an Associate Actuary from November 2010 to September 2017. Douglas also gained experience as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Brown & Brown from 2009 to 2010 and at Mercer from 2004 to 2008.

Douglas Punt, FSA, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from West Virginia University in 2000. Douglas later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh, which they completed in 2004.
