Katie Harlan

Katie Harlan has extensive experience in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), currently serving as the Director of DEI Office Business Operations at Symetra since October 2017. Prior to this role, Katie held various positions at Symetra, including Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, HR Program Manager for DEI, and HR Generalist. Katie also worked at Starbucks as a Customer Account Analyst and previously as a Shift Supervisor. Earlier career roles include Corporate Recruiter and HR Coordinator at Symetra and Program Staff at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue. Katie's educational background includes participation in Leadership Eastside from 2019 to 2020 and a degree from Bellevue College from 2005 to 2010.
