Mike Polonsky

Mike Polonsky is a seasoned actuarial professional with over three decades of experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as AVP & Senior Actuary in the Life Division at Symetra since March 2012, Mike specializes in pricing and product development for various life insurance products, including universal life and linked benefit products. Prior roles include Director of Individual Life Product Development at Sun Life Financial from February 2008 to February 2012 and Senior Associate Actuary at John Hancock Life Insurance Company from January 1993 to February 2008, where Mike managed teams and coordinated product launches across multiple functions. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Psychology from Brown University, obtained in 1992.
